My Approach

CHOOSING THE RIGHT REAL ESTATE PARTNER

Buying and selling your home is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. I suspect that you want the process to be as easy and stress free as possible. To ensure that I’m the right Realtor for you, the following recaps my approach and how I can best help you.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT OF ME

  • I promise to listen carefully to what you need.
    Typically we’ll schedule an initial 20-45 minute phone conversation where you’ll share information about yourself and what you’re looking for (e.g., selling your home, buying a home, relocating to the SF Bay Area).
  • I promise to ask thoughtful and respectful questions.
    Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s important that I understand what you want and need. As a result, I will ask you a series of personal questions all designed to gather information in order to best serve you.
  • I promise to be a responsive communicator.
    We’ll discuss your communication preferences (email, text, phone, in-person). When meeting with clients, I turn off email and phone notifications so that my undivided attention is given. When you leave me a message, I will respond to you as quickly as I can. If and when an issue arises, I am committed to solving it quickly. I will be honest, straightforward and responsive to your requests. Additionally, you will receive status reports to keep you informed along the way.
  • I promise to keep your information confidential.
    Buying and selling real estate requires disclosure of many personal details and financial information. Our relationship is based upon trust and honesty; I’m committed to keeping the information you share with me private and confidential. You will be informed if any information must be shared with third parties such as title companies and mortgage lenders.
  • I promise to respect our time together.
    When we schedule time to meet, I will prepare information in advance of our meetings such as market data, maps that are customized to summarize our area tour, contract and disclosure documents, a step-by-step personalized marketing plan, etc. That way when we meet we can spend our time efficiently solving your real estate needs.
  • I promise you will receive personalized attention.
    When you choose me as your Realtor, you receive my personalized attention. We will work closely together during the entire real estate transaction. Please note that I have a full-time assistant; she’s dedicated to keeping all of your paperwork organized. You may hear from my assistant from time-to-time; however, I am your primary point of contact throughout the process.
  • I promise to be your relocation guide.
    If you are relocating into the San Francisco Bay Area, I am committed to being your guide. I have deep experience in helping clients create the life they want in their new home. As a result, I have many contacts within the corporate relocation community and local vendors to make the process as seamless as possible.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

In order to best help you  — delivering the best results tailored to your unique needs — I respectfully ask that:

  • You communicate with me.
    My role as your Realtor is to present your best options. Ask me questions. Tell me your wants and needs. And, if anything changes — like your search criteria or financial situation — please communicate those changes with me. The sooner I know, the sooner I can adjust our strategy to best meet (and exceed) your needs.
  • You participate in the process.
    Buying, selling or relocating is a journey. When you are an active participant — giving me both positive and negative feedback — I can adjust our strategy accordingly.
  • You respect our time together.
    When we schedule an appointment, I reserve that time especially for you. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible.
  • You review all financial information carefully.
    Buying and selling real estate is a major financial decision. Please consult with your CPA, financial advisor or other professional whenever necessary so you make the best decision for you and your family. If you need a referral to a financial or legal professional, please let me know and I am happy to assist you.
  • You listen to my professional expertise.
    Real estate rules and regulations can vary from state to state, even county to county or city to city. As your real estate professional my job is to help you navigate real estate contracts and the disclosure process, as well as ever-changing market conditions.
  • You are realistic.
    The San Francisco Bay Area is a premier real estate market. My job as your Realtor is to educate you on your options. We will explore your wants and needs by discussing thoughtful and important questions. We will also review various strategies on how to best achieve your real estate goals.
